The Journey Begins

       And so the journey begins...left Billings this morning at 11:47am...turns out saying good-bye for 6 months is harder than it may seem..first I had to say goodbye to all my friends in Havre-miss you guys, then to my friends in Billings-miss you guys too, and then to my boyfriend, Brian-LOVE YOU, which it was way hard, I fought back the tears as long as I could, but sure enough they started to fall down my face, and finally having to say good-bye to my parents and brother-sad sad sad, I did cry because I cry a lot- love you family! Preparing yourself for a long good-bye is hard, but I feel like I am keeping myself together well. 

     Currently I am sitting in the Salt Lake City airport waiting at Gate D2 to board my plane to Paris. Once in Paris I will have to board a flight to Madrid. In Madrid the real adventure will begin, I have to find my way to the train station and get a train to Salamanca. I will get there on Thursday, their time. I will also have to lug around two rolling bags because this girl apparently can't condense her things into one bag under 50 pounds for 6 months -lol- I blame it mostly on my huge Spanish Dictionary and my 575 Verb Book and my huge bottle of shampoo...and maybe some clothes -lol- 

       This is truly an adventure and opportunity of a lifetime. I have my parents to thank for all their support, my awesome professors at MSU-Billings for teaching me all I know, my high school Spanish teacher Miss Deegan who introduced me to my love for Spanish and Spain, my tutor-Hilarry, who has been the best help ever, and all my friends and family that support me and love me! Thanks everyone. I hope you enjoy my blog and it keeps you entertained. I plan to write once a week, but possibly more if super exciting stuff happens (probably will) -lol- My title to my blog means The Unforgettable Adventure to Spain and Europe. Love you all and thanks for everything. The next time I will be writing from Spain!
